Finally a chance to relax and take a breath! It’s Sunday night at Mum and Dad (Job’s) place in Shepparton. It’s been a crazy, crazy week, but we finally left at 7.30pm on Friday night. We went through Preston to see Luke’s (Kim’s brother) new apartment which he showed us via torch light because the electric company wouldn’t connect it up that day. Got into Shepp about 11pm Friday night. Saturday we did a little shopping, 4 loads of laundry, visited my Grandpa, fixed wiring problems on the car and trailer, all the while a sick little Sam wanted attention every second of the day. Sunday morning I went to church while Kim had a well earned sleep – after spending hours awake with Sam in the middle of the night and feeling under the weather herself. Came home to have lunch with Kim and back to the church for a good-bye afternoon tea that was organised for us at the Church of Christ in Shepp. Tomorrow we plan to repack the car and leave in the afternoon for Albury. Should be an easier day hopefully. It’s been a challenging start to our trip… Thanks so much for those who prayed for us, esp. the CGCC church and the prayer chain in Mooroopna… Sam and Kim are feeling a lot better now.
