Yesterday we left Shepparton for our trip to Albury. It was hard to say goodbye to Jason’s parents but we were thankful for the time we had spent with them. We’ve been enjoying rice pudding, cups of tea and lots of chatting in recent days. It is great spending time with family as we travel north. Sam is feeling a little better which has helped him to enjoy his aunt and cousins too. He loved watching all the cars on the Hume Highway yesterday and his eyes became the size of dinner plates as a huge green truck passed us. Hopefully, this interest in the traffic will continue as we travel onto Sydney tomorrow. This will be our longest drive for quite awhile on this trip. Quigley (our Landcruiser) is doing well with its heavy load which is great. Stay tuned for more adventures… as we see just how Sam will cope with a 6 hour car ride…
