Well it took me 10 months to finally catch my first Barra. So here it is.  76cm in length and 3.8kgs.  Not bad for a first I reckon. (Kim reckons she got 76 mozzie bites while taking this photo and hasn’t stopped scratching for the last 3.8 hours).
So I’ve had a good few days, three good sized fish in 3 days and our freezer is looking great.  “And what will your choice be tonight, Sir; Barra, Diamond Trevally, Flathead or Golden Trevally?” is something you might hear at a nice seafood restaurant rather than from your wife as she has her head in the freezer.  Kim always calls me Sir… just kidding.
2013 is looking up!
