Sam is now five and a half as he so eagerly reminds us often. He is in Transition, or Prep, or Kindergarten, called many different things, but it is still the first year of school for him. In this blog i have attached some of the photos that have appeared in the school newsletter of Sam’s class and their fun.
The photos above are of the celebration of the letter P. They had a pyjama day with popcorn and parades and pancakes…. Sam is in the orange Dusty / Planes pjs.
Sam’s class also hosted the school assembly one week. Unfortunately, we had language school that week so we weren’t able to be there, but we helped rehearse his line and sing the songs about Earth Day.
Along with all the fun Sam he is having at school, school life brings a few new adventures for us all! School life has meant lots of new bugs for us all to deal with. Coughs, fevers and head lice have all visited us recently. Thankfully Jason seems to have a strong immunity and the bugs have missed him. Kim has not been quite so lucky.
School means birthday parties! We have enjoyed getting to know the families of Sam’s classmates that come from all over the world and are involved in some amazing jobs here in Timor-Leste.
